Open Fields is a small non-graded private school, just off the common on Thetford Hill, Vermont. Founded in 1971 by Jean K. Aull, Open Fields is open to all children, ages 4 through 12.

OFS Student Chosen as a Green Up Vermont Poster Design Project Winner
Our own Leia Barth has been chosen as one of five state-wide winners in the grade category K-1 in the Green Up Day poster design project for Vermont Green Up Day May 5, 2012. Thirty-two winners in six age categories were chosen from over 800 entries throughout the state. Winners were honored at Green Up Vermont's Annual Awards Banquet in Montpelier. Green Up's mission is to promote the stewardship of our state's natural landscape and waterways and the livability of our communities by involving people in Green Up Day and raising public awareness about the benefits of a litter-free environment.
